Programmatic advertising increased traffic for IIHF

Task: Carrying out an advertising campaign in order to find volunteers online

SOLUTION
  1. Gaining attention to volunteers’ recruitment for the next tournament managed by the IIHF by launching display advert with banners containing general info and invitation.
  2. Launching a video campaign advertising popular social media – Facebook and Instagram.
  3. Setting up retargeting for users who started filling the form but didn’t submit it. Offering them to change their mind and become a part of an organizing team.
  4. Utilizing companion banner on YouTube with the invitation to become a volunteer with context targeting to videos related to ice hockey.
RESULTS
  • The average CTR amounted to 0,46%
  • The number of applications increased by 215,1% compared to the previous period
  • The average percentage of viewing the video ad until the end amounted to 97,3%
