Effective date: July 03, 2018
NT is an advertising technology company. We provide a technology platform and services which help advertisers do a more effective job of reaching their targeting audiences. As a Demand-Side Platform, our clients, which include advertisers and agencies, use our technology to purchase advertising, including display, video, social, native, and mobile ads, in an automated way. As a Data Management Platform, our technology enables our clients to control and activate data and provides them tools to onboard, segment and understand their data.
This Policy describes how NT (“our”, “us”, “we”) collects, uses, shares or otherwise processes personal data via NT Programmatic Platform (“Platform”), our website at https://nt.technology/ (“Website”).
Companies and individuals using the Platform and the Website own their own data, and NT retains limited rights to use Platform Data to run the Platform and provide and improve our advertising technology services.
When NT processes your personal data as a controller in the context of operating the Platform or the Website the controller of your personal data is NT Group Ltd.
CHANGES TO THE POLICY
NT may revise this Policy at any time. The date of the last update can be found at the top of the Policy. If we make revisions that materially change or affect whether or how we collect or use personal data, we will not apply them retroactively. If you would like to stay up-to-date you should review the Website periodically.
This Policy relates solely to the personal data we collect and process about you in relation to our Platform, our Website. NT’s website may contain links to other sites, and the ads delivered by the Platform may run on a variety of other sites. Clicking on those links, accessing other sites, or enabling those connections may allow third parties to collect or share data about you. NT does not control these third-party sites and is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites.
WHAT DATA DO WE COLLECT AND USE VIA THE PLATFORM?
When you visit a website that uses our technology (or that uses technology that transacts with parties using our Platform) we collect or receive certain information about you and your device including:
Information about your browser:
- The type of browser
- Browser language
- Browser settings
- Cookie information
Information about your device:
- Information about the device’s operating system including its version and connection type
- Device make, device model
- Device Identifiers such as your IDFA or AAID
- Precise Geographic Location data when location services have been enabled for an app on your device that has integrated our technology or that sends that information to our Platform
- The IP address from which the device accesses a client’s site
Information about your activity on a Digital Property including web pages or apps visited or used and the time those web pages or apps were visited or used. Note this information is only collected and received by us in connection with requests to us initiated by Digital Properties using our technology to show ads to you or to track your activity in connection with the delivery of an ad or to place Digital Identifiers associated with your browser or device into interest-based segments. This means we do not passively track your activity but only receive information about your activity in connection with requests specifically made to our Platform to serve you an ad, measure your interaction with an ad or to place you into an interest-based category for future use by a client to help make the ads they show to you more relevant.
Information about ads served, viewed or clicked on, including the type of ad, where the ad was served, whether you clicked on it and whether you visited the advertiser’s website or downloaded the advertiser’s app.
Information about you or inferences about your interests that a seller, buyer or third-party provider has collected about you and shared with us such as information about your interests or demographic information (your age or gender) or to help make the ads served to you more relevant.
Information about your Internet service including information about which Internet Service Provider (ISP) is used by you.
HOW DO WE COLLECT DATA?
The Platform receives data in several ways, including the following:
- Bid requests, which are sets of information that describe an ad space that is available to be filled. We get these requests from the “supply” side of the advertising ecosystem, meaning websites, apps, smart televisions, and others, as well as their agents. The requests contain information about the ad space, the device, and sometimes the user. They also usually have an ID that enables us to match the request with information we may already have.
- Pixels and cookies, which allow us to recognize web browsers across sites and over time, and therefore to record information about them over time.
- Mobile SDKs are bits of code that some of our partners enable to be placed in mobile apps. This enables our partners to send us data about the mobile app and device in association with the mobile device ID.
We may receive personal data from our clients and partners. Specifically, our clients and partners may send us segments that include you and personal data they have obtained about you. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
HOW DO WE USE THE DATA WE COLLECT VIA THE PLATFORM?
We use the information we collect for our legitimate business interests to provide services to our clients.
More specifically, the Platform enables our users to use this information to:
- Determine what ad to show an individual, and to serve that ad (including behaviorally targeted ads) to that individual
- Customize ads to particular types of audiences;
- Customize ads to the type of web page an individual is viewing;
- Perform analysis of how effective the ads served are;
- Learn more about their own customers;
- Limit the number of times an individual sees an ad;
- Detect fraud; and
- Troubleshoot platform or campaign issues.
WHAT DATA DO WE COLLECT AND USE VIA THE WEBSITE?
We collect personally identifiable information, such as your name, phone number, company name and email address, directly from you when you choose to enter it on our website, for instance when you complete the “Contact Us” form.
As is true of most websites, we gather certain information automatically. This information may include Internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, the files viewed on our site (e.g., HTML pages, graphics, etc.), operating system, date/time stamp, and/or clickstream data.

Please note, however, that no transmission or storage of information can ever be guaranteed to be completely secure. Once we receive Platform Data, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorized access. If we collect and use your personal data in reliance on our legitimate interests, this interest will normally be to operate the Website, communicate with you, send you marketing communications (where we have your permission to do so, if such permission is required by applicable law), and show you ads on Digital Properties. We may have other legitimate interests and, if appropriate, we will make clear to you at the relevant time what those legitimate interests are. In some cases, we also may have a legal obligation to collect personal data from you.
